Mini Medics first aid training for children 
 

The course is all inclusive of  all refreshments, lunch, course pack and certificate. It also gives  5 vital hours of emergency first aid training enabling the children  to better respond to an emergency situation and give immediate care and potentially save life.


This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation for children and aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 16, but it can suit children of any age.

The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies.

The course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.

• What is First Aid?
• Defibrillation
• First Aid kits
• Recovery position
• Choking
• Safety, communication and contacting the emergency services
• DR ABC
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• Asthma
• Wounds and bleeding
• Shock

This flexible course is aimed at:

• Primary schools

• Sports clubs

• Organisations such as cubs, scouts, brownies, boys brigade

• children aged 7-16 but could suit children as young as 5
